Responsibilities:
- Scoop and serve ice cream to customers with a friendly and positive attitude - Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations - Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness of the ice cream shop, including wiping down counters and tables - Stock supplies and ensure inventory is properly organized - Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food - Assist with bussing tables and cleaning dishes as needed Skills:
- Sales skills to effectively promote products and upsell to customers - Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating change - Knowledge of retail math for inventory management and pricing - Proficiency in operating a cash register or point-of-sale system - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and serve customers efficiently - Food handling knowledge to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and procedures in a restaurant setting Note:
