Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay and Old Mission is currently looking for enthusiastic people to join our Tasting Room team! If you are friendly, are social and like to have fun on the job, meet interesting people and have a flexible schedule this is a job for you! We host a variety of events so excellent customer service is a must! We are currently offering part-time, and seasonal positions through mid-November.
Perfect for college students, moms who need a break, weekend work for extra income, retirees or someone who just wants part-time.
Hourly rate plus tip pool can bring you to earning approximately $25 per hour! RESPONSIBILITIES Greet every guest promptly in a friendly manner Exemplify hospitality when serving, educating, and interacting with guests Whether you're pouring wine, playing host with the most, or manning the cash register, you need to be a team player ready to help out wherever needed Our team is the face of our business, so think of yourself as a brand ambassador educating guest on our wines and spirits and everything Black Star Farms has to offer, including our wine club Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhering to all current health and safety requirements QUALIFICATIONS Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required Customer service experience preferred TAMs/Tips certification not required, but a plus Basic computer skills, previous POS experience is preferred You must be driven to sell with a positive attitude Demonstrate consistent professionalism and responsibility while interacting with guests Must be 17 years of age or older WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS Hours of operation:
Sunday - Saturday 11:
00am - 6:
00pm Must be willing to come in early or stay late to fulfill necessary opening and closing duties Must be available to work weekends and most holidays Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (case of wine) and be on your feet for long periods of time BENEFITS Flexible scheduling Commission for recruiting new wine club members Company-wide discounts Job Types:
